Canon Middle East, a leader in imaging and business solutions, in partnership with Salam Studio & Stores, has unveiled a line-up of its latest models in the Digital Video Camcorder (DVC) and Digital Still Camera (DSC) segments for the Qatari market.
Product managers Rashad Ghani and Zubair Zamaqshari addressed the audience and showcased the exclusive line-up of products.
Canon Middle East marketing director Hendrik Verbrugghe stated that over the years, Qatar has evolved as a major business, media and entertainment hub in the Middle East, spawning numerous businesses and activities that require the services of professional photographers and camcorders.
“This is a growing community, and professional photographers and videographers are known to be very passionate about their work and their cameras. Using our extensive DSC and DVC technology and expertise, we want to come closer to our customers in Qatar and meet their expectations,” he explained.
Canon Middle East regional sales director Venkatasubramanian Hariharan pointed out that the Middle East is an important market for Canon, especially Qatar, where the company’s products are well received amongst consumers.
“The channel community is playing an indispensable role in making our offerings a success. The 2015 sales direction will therefore, give them an overview of where we are and where we need to be,” he added.
