Indian Union Minister for Law and Justice D V Sadananda Gowda arrived in Doha yesterday at the head of Indian delegations for the “13th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice” starting in Doha today. Indian Ambassador Sanjiv Arora along with Indian Cultural Centre President Girish Kumar and president of Karnataka Sangha Qatar, Deepak Shetty received him. Qatar is hosting the 13th UN Crime Congress which brings together government officials, policy-makers and experts from member UN States to exchange their experiences and intensify international co-operation in tackling the threat of transnational organised crime. The conference ends on April 19.
