Qatar Chamber (QC) deputy chairman Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Tuwar received the Moldovan Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food industries Vladimir Loghin and the accompanying delegation yesterday. They discussed ways to expand economic co-operation. Ahmed al-Obaidly, QC board member and head of QC agricultural committee, was present at the meeting. Tuwar said the Chamber was focused on encouraging Qatari businessmen to explore new markets and investment opportunities in Moldova, pointing out that Qatar attached great importance to the agriculture and food security sector.
While referring to the existing co-operation agreement between the chambers of the two countries, he asserted QC’s willingness to promote tie-ups between entrepreneurs and opening mutually beneficial investments.
Loghin also explained his country’s interest in Qatar and the importance of opening new markets for its products, as well as attracting Qatari business owners to invest in livestock and poultry in Moldova.
