Alfardan Premier Motors Co, the exclusive importer of Land Rover in Qatar, has held its annual ‘Land Rover Ride & Drive Desert Event’.
The fun-filled day featured intrepid drives, advanced desert driving tips from experts and campsite entertainment for customers, prospects, friends and families at Khor Al Udaid – the Inland Sea.
The invited guests received expert training on how to drive safely in Qatar’s deserts before trying out the full range of Land Rover’s 4x4 vehicles on a drive by off-road experts across the sand dunes, one of Qatar’s most famous natural beauty sites.
The day included other family fun activities, ending in a barbecue at the campsite at Khor Al Udaid.
Hussein Adra, Alfardan Premier Motors marketing and corporate responsibility manager, said: “This annual event is always a special opportunity to thank all our long-standing customers for their loyalty with a family day full of fun and adventure in one of Qatar’s beauty spots. It gave our most valued clients and fans the chance to enjoy some intense driving in a dramatic desert landscape and to experience first-hand how Land Rover 4x4s can effortlessly tackle the dunes. They were also taught by the experts how to safely navigate challenging off-road conditions in the desert. Our thanks go to all participants and everyone who made this year’s ‘Land Rover Ride & Drive Desert Event’ such a resounding success.”
