Twenty-one commercial companies won a plot of land each yesterday at the first logistic zone at Jarri Al Samra at Umm Salal in a public draw, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC)
announced yesterday. A total of 116 companies had applied for the plots to the Logistic
Committee at the MEC, which conducted the draw. Only 42 qualified to enter the final draw, out of whom 21 were allotted a plot each. Another draw was conducted for a spare candidate for each plot if any of the winners fail to complete the transaction. Picture shows the draw being conducted.
