All set for the Ansar Gallery Barwa branch grand opening

Ansar Group of Companies (AGC) is all set for the grand opening of its 30,000sqm branch in Barwa Commercial Avenue, Doha on Thursday.

Qatar Chamber chairman HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani will lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6.30pm. He will be joined by top AGC officials and other dignitaries.

Considered as the longest and the largest in Qatar, the 800m long showroom houses a huge number of shops and boutiques that offer a wide range of products.

All the shops will open today to welcome guests and customers, especially families who want to avail of the promos and big discounts at the new branch of Ansar Gallery.

From today to May 8, the showroom offers “Get back half of your purchase” for all products such as carpets, furniture, garments and footwear, sanitary and kitchen wares, porcelain and ceramic, lighting and doors, cosmetics and perfumes, among others. Customers can also get 10 to 20% discount for a number of items.

One supervisor said they will also offer big discounts on mobile phones and other electronic gadgets. One of the biggest sections, the showroom’s 5,000sqm section dedicated for bedroom furniture showcases quality and high-end products made from various parts of the world.

These include bedroom and sofa sets, kids bedroom set, sofa bed, coffee table, display cabinet and computer table. Some bedroom sets have been designed for the high end market ranging from QR9,000 to more than QR13,000.

AGC chairman Ali Akbar Shaikh Ali had earlier told Gulf Times that unique designs and brands have been created exclusively for Ansar Gallery.

The finest quality carpets from Iran, Turkey and around the world occupy the two-storey, 2,000sqm carpet section, including handmade luxury carpets from Belgium and India.

The showroom also houses one of the biggest building materials section in Doha. Some of the items on display include bathtubs, shower panels, doors and door locks, tiles for the entire house, and homewares from Spain and Italy and from several other countries.

Besides the food court, AGC will also open the Ansar Café. A Fun Zone is ready to welcome children of different ages who want to play numerous games and stationary rides.

The multi-million riyal investment also has its own supermarket which offers a variety of products at affordable prices.
