Condolences sent to Saudi King
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday sent cables of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of Saudi Arabia on the death of Princess Jawaher bint Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman al-Saud.  
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani also sent a cable of condolences to King Salman.

National day greetings
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HH the Deputy Emir  Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani have sent cables of congratulations to Queen Margrethe II of Denmark on the occasion of her country’s national day anniversary.  
HE Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani also sent a cable of congratulations to Queen Margrethe II.

Al-Rumaihi in Moscow talks
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, who is also the president’s special representative for the Middle East and Africa, yesterday met with Qatar’s Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs, HE Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi, and his accompanying delegation.
They discussed aspects of co-operation between the two countries in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
Qatar’s ambassador to Russia, Saud bin Abdullah Zaid al-Mahmoud, attended the meeting.
