The “first-of-its-kind customisable sandwich shop in Qatar” has been opened at Medina Centrale, The Pearl-Qatar.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by many dignitaries, was held to mark the opening of “Which Wich? Superior Sandwiches” recently.
Mansoor al-Ansari, managing partner of Waleema Food Services, along with Jeff Sinelli, founder and chief vibe officer of Which Wich and other executives from the US, attended the event.
The opening ceremony was also attended by a number of chief executives of Qatari companies, senior officials from Qatari football entities and United Development Company, master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, in addition to a group of social figures in Qatar.
The shop is known for customisable sandwiches with fresh and unique ingredients, according to a statement. The fast casual sandwich shop also has a creative ordering system that allows customers to use a red Sharpie marker to pick ingredients on pre-printed menus on sandwich bags.
It also comes with a featured newspaper reading station and free Wi-Fi.
“We are thrilled to officially open Which Wich’s doors and welcome families and employees living and working in the area to experience the first of these sandwich shops to open in Qatar,” said al-Ansari, adding that his company is also planning to expand in other areas of Qatar.
