30,000 jobs offered at Dole’s Luneta fair

The Department of Labour and Employment (Dole) yester offered some 30,000 jobs at a fair held at Rizal Park (Luneta) in Manila.
Nelson Hornilla, National Capital Region (Metro Manila)  Dole chief,  said 60 local and 25  international employment agencies participated in the activity held on Independence Day.
Hornilla added that  the 30,000 jobs available are all in Metro Manila.
He said there are still 131,000 vacancies to be filled up.
In the government, some vacancies are  in the Bureau of Internal
Revenue, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, Department of Education and Philippine Statistical Authority.
Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Taiwan are looking for restaurant crew, engineers, nurses and medical personnel.
Local employers are in search of customer service representatives, call center and business processing office workers, machine operators, drivers, cashiers, welders and auto mechanics.
