Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim al-Thani Museum (FBQ Museum) has hosted a cultural visit from the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy’s (SC) Jeeran Youth Panel, a group of 30 community ambassadors of 17 nationalities who are engaging with topics related to the 2022 FIFA
World Cup.
The visit kicked off with an introductory tour of FBQ Museum’s collections followed by a treasure hunt through the
museum.
One of Qatar’s most viewed YouTube channels, the “Klmat Ras” crew, then led an inspirational session, introducing script writing skills to the young participants and brainstorming ideas on how to link sports with art.
The panel was inspired to think outside the box and consider how they could raise Qatar’s profile as a lively cultural destination encouraging intercultural
understanding.
“It was very involving and the most awesome workshop I have been to,” said Meeher Kapoor, Youth Panel member.
The “unique ambience of FBQ Museum provided the perfect backdrop to the day’s activities as an inspiring cultural venue that combines culture, heritage and sports”, said a statement.
