A marginal fall in temperature is on cards for the day owing to strengthening of the Northwesterly-Northerly winds across the country, especially on the inshore areas.
The day’s maximum is expected in the southern region and it is likely to hover around 42 degrees. The expected temperature on the western areas is between 28 and 39 degrees.
The weather office has on the forecast partly cloudy and slightly dusty conditions as well. There will be a slight fall in the visibility owing to dusty environs compared to Sunday and it may come down to even 3km or less.
The water level on the offshore areas in the north may rise upto 7 feet. The winds may reach upto 28 knots at times but may fall to 12 knots or less by late in the evening.
On the offshore areas, winds may vary between 8 and 18 knots, but may reach upto 22 knots on the northern side.
