Commercial Bank has launched its new “state-of-art” Internet banking website featuring “first to market” technologies, which was designed specifically to enhance customers’ online experience when banking at home or on the move.
Customers who register for Commercial Bank’s Internet banking receive an “exceptionally well designed and personalised platform” that delivers a faster and easier way to bank online, Qatar’s first private bank said yesterday.
Commercial Bank’s new Internet banking website uses a variety of innovative new technologies to deliver the best online banking experience with the click of a button, the bank said in a statement.
Banking services can be quickly found using an optimised navigation system and a new digital tips section helps customers make the most of their online journey. Customers can also personalise their experience using quick links to manage their shortcuts, so that their favourite services are always available from any page quickly and easily, the statement said.
“Managing accounts and making payments have never been easier with new payment reminders that automatically remind customers of everyday or annual bills that need to be paid,” it added.
Transfers using Internet banking have been enhanced, with all local transfers completed online now free for all customers and, with a new ‘top transfers’ feature, customers’ frequent transfers can quickly be repeated with just one click.
A new ‘spend distribution’ breakdown of customers’ Credit Card spending habits also makes managing personal finances easy.
Commercial Bank Internet banking customers automatically have access to the bank’s advanced Mobile Banking App, which provides a wide range of banking services for a “seamlessly convenient” banking experience. Currently available on iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Windows smartphone, the app is rated the “best financial app” in Qatar by users on app stores and professionals by ranking service AppTweak.
Commercial Bank CEO Abdulla Saleh al-Raisi said: “In the current banking environment, the ability to compete with secure, easy to use and convenient digital services is paramount. Commercial Bank is proud to be the pioneers of Internet and mobile banking innovations in Qatar and our new Internet banking website delivers the best online banking experience in the region for our valued customers.”
