HE the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Major General Hamad bin Ali al-Attiyah has said that the implementation of a large Qatari investment project in Minsk is an example for other Qatari investors.
Major General Hamad bin Ali al-Attiyah was speaking as he participated in the launch of the Qatari investment project that consists of a hotel and sports complex. The project will work at full capacity in October.
He added that he was pleased to visit Belarus to discuss ways to enhance the prospects of bilateral co-operation between the two countries.
Assistant to the President of Belarus for National Security Affairs Viktor Lukashenko and Belarus’ Defence Minister Andrei Ravkov along with a number of senior officials and businessmen in Belarus attended the opening ceremony.
It is worth mentioning that the cost of the Qatari investment project reached about $160mn and its implementation began in 2012.
