The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the working time at health centres during Eid al-Fitr holidays.
The main health centres in Doha (Al-Rayyan, Madinat Khalifa, Al-Muntazah, Umm Ghuwailina, Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, Omar bin Al-Khatab, West Bay and Mesaimeer) will work in double shifts from 7am to 2pm and from 4pm-10pm, except for Mesaimeer health centre, which does not work in the morning on Fridays.
Dental services at these centres will be available during these hours, except for the first day of Eid al-Fitr and Friday mornings.
Outside Doha, the health centres of Al-Khor, Al-Shamal and Al-Wakrah will be open from 7am to 11pm, while Khor and Al-Shamal centres will be closed for two hours a day from 2pm-4pm.
Al-Shahania health centre will be open every day from 7am to 9pm, while health centres of Al-Jamiliyah, Al-Kaaban, Al-Ghuwairiya and Umm Bab will work on an on-call system around the clock.
Regarding dental services, Al-Wakrah health centre dental clinic will open daily from 7am to 2pm and from 3-9pm except the first day of the Eid and Friday morning.
In the centres of Al-Khor, Al-Shamal and Al-Shahania dental services will be available from 7am to 2pm, except on the first day of Eid. Dental service will not be available in Al-Shamal and Al-Shahania on Friday and Saturday.
Health centres of Umm Salal, Al-Daayen, Airport, Al-Karaana, Al-Gharafa and Abu Nakhla will all be closed during the holidays.
With respect to specialised clinics, ophthalmology and ear, nose and throat (ENT) clinics will operate daily during all the morning period, from July 15 to July 25 (except on Friday and Saturday for the ENT clinic and on Friday, July 24th for the ophthalmology clinic).
With regard to the premarital screening programme, only Al-Rayyan health centre will operate on Sunday, July 19 and on Wednesday, July 22 from 70am to 1pm.
