Qatar Airways has hosted regional mediapersons from across the Gulf to a series of Ramadan events.
Qatar Airways strengthened its media relations during the holy month of Ramadan by welcoming its media colleagues from across the Gulf to a series of Ramadan events in Doha, Dubai, Muscat, and Manama.
The four events were in recognition of the regional media who continuously support Qatar Airways throughout the year.
Salam al-Shawa, senior vice president, marketing and corporate communications at Qatar Airways, said, “Ramadan is a special occasion to be thankful to our media partners who support the national airline, and we are happy to reconnect with those journalists whom we have worked closely with throughout the year.”
In addition to being one of the region’s premier carriers and an emerging power in the international air travel market, Qatar Airways is proud of its commitment to the local community, its culture and
traditions.
Qatar Airways recently won Airline of the Year, Best Business Class Airline Seat and Best Airline in the Middle East at the 2015 Skytrax Awards. This is the third time the airline has won the accolade of “Airline of the Year”.
The airline has seen rapid growth in just 18 years of operation and it currently flies a modern fleet of 162 aircraft to 149 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America.
