Qatar condemns Israeli action at Al Aqsa Mosque

Qatar has strongly condemned violation of the sanctity of Al Aqsa Mosque by Israeli policemen and settlers, deeply deploring the constant aggressive practices by Israel in Jerusalem.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Foreign Ministry said that the settlers’ breaking into Al Aqsa Mosque is a provocation of the feelings of millions of Muslims.
The statement called on Israel to put an end to its evil and illegal actions at Al Aqsa Mosque, stressing that the ongoing Israeli violations of houses of worship will increase tension in the region.

Qatar supports Turkey security measures

Qatar yesterday condemned the recent attacks that took place in Turkey targeting civilians and security personnel in a number of towns across the country.  
A statement released by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday condemned the attacks and expressed Qatar’s support to Turkey in the security measures it takes to protect its borders and maintain its security and stability.  
The statement added that Qatar’s support to these measures is out of the State’s rejection of violence and terrorism in all its forms regardless of its motives.  
The statement also expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims as well as the government and people of Turkey, wishing a swift recovery to those who were injured in the attacks.

Emir offers condolences to Saudi king

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani have sent cables to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud condoling the death of Princess Mishael bint Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.
