Qatar coach Carreno visits El Jaish during overseas training camp

Qatar National Team Head Coach Daniel Carreno visited El Jaish Sports during their training camp in Austria as the team prepares for the new QSL season. Carreno met with El Jaish head coach Sabri Lamouchi in the presence of team official Ismail Ahmed, both spoke about the team’s preparations. Carreño was keen to observe the team’s training session in order check on the international players from El Jaish.
El Jaish players gave the Maroons Head Coach a team jersey as a way to thank him for his visit. Carreno expressed his admiration for the team’s spirit and strength.
El Jaish are continuing their preparations for their first friendly game during against Linz on the 5th of August. The Soldiers Head Coach will be focusing on technical elements during the friendly. The second friendly game will be played on Sunday versus Hellas Verona of Italy, after which the squad will travel to Italy for the second phase of the external training camp.

Al Wakrah in Rome for camp

Al Wakrah have left for Italy, where they will hold their training camp in preparation for the new Qatar Stars League season.
The Club Sports Director Jassim al-Tamimi was in Rome ahead of the team’s visit, so as to make all necessary arrangements for the team. The delegation constitutes 46 individuals and is headed by the club’s Head of football Abdullah Saqr, the club’s Sports Director Jassim al-Tamimi, 30 players and technical staff and officials.
Al Wakrah concluded the first phase of their preparations in Doha with the friendly game against Mesaimeer last Sunday which ended in 1-0 favour of the boys in blue.

Al Ahli to face NK Maribor today
Al Ahli Sports Club will play a friendly against Slovenian side NK Maribor during their training camp in Austria.
It is scheduled that the Croatian Head Coach Zalatco will field the most number of players possible during the game in order to identify which players have reached good levels of fitness and match sharpness. Al Ahli will play three more friendlies during their overseas preseason training camp.
