Envoy presents credentials
Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has received the credentials of Ibrahim bin Mohamed al-Abdullah, Qatar’s non-resident ambassador to Uganda.
The ambassador conveyed HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani’s greetings to the president and further wishes of development and progress to the government and people of Uganda.
President Museveni reciprocated Emir’s greetings.
Katara chief meets envoy of Chad
Katara Director General Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti yesterday met Chadian ambassador to Doha Abubakr al-Siddiq Chourouma.
They discussed the possibility of holding a Chadian cultural event at Katara. Al-Sulaiti described Chadian culture as deep-rooted, adding that Chad not only has rich African dimensions but also enjoys authentic Arab roots.
