Prime Minister meets ambassadors
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani yesterday met with US ambassador Dana Shell Smith (pictured), Eritrean ambassador Ali Ibrahim Ahmed and Syrian ambassador Nizar Hassan al-Haraki. During the separate meetings, the Prime Minister and the ambassadors reviewed bilateral co-operation and ways to develop it.
Greetings sent to Vietnam leader on National Day

Qatar’s message for Indian PM
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received a written message from HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, dealing with bilateral relations and ways to enhance them. Qatar’s ambassador to India, Ahmed Ibrahim al-Abdullah, handed the message during a meeting with the joint secretary of the prime minister’s office, Jawed Ashraf.
Envoys in talks on bilateral ties
Minister in the prime minister’s department in Malaysia, Datuk Wee Ka Siong, yesterday met with Qatar’s ambassador, Issa bin Mohamed al-Mannai. Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations and means of enhancing them.
