Hisense Middle East and Fifty One East have come together to launch the King Kong smartphone in Qatar.
The new mobile is available at all Fifty One East outlets located at Al Maha Centre, City Center Doha and Virgin Megastore.
“The King Kong mobile by Hisense is distinguished by its stylish design and features that make it an ideal choice for business, sport or daily use. The smartphone simplifies everyday tasks, providing a seamless user experience that will further enhance Qatar’s high-end smartphone space at extremely competitive prices. The device comes equipped with a host of multimedia functions that will redefine the experience of viewing content on a smartphone,” according to a statement.
The King Kong has a Quad-Core processor, running at a speed of 1.2GHz, and comes with 16GB of internal memory that can be upgraded to 32GB via an external micro SD. It is also equipped with 2GB RAM and features a five-inch IPS touchscreen, a screen technology used in high-end TVs.
The smartphone uses the Android 4.4KitKat operating system, provides access to the Play Store and has a chamber HD 8MP camera with autofocus and flash. Further, this device has a 2MP front camera that can be used to click selfies and conduct video calls with friends or colleagues.
