The Indonesian embassy recently held a Preparatory Meeting of the Business and Investment Forum (PM-BIF) with many stakeholders in Qatar. The event was held within the framework of the proposed visit of Indonesian President Joko Widodo to Qatar on September 14. Indonesian Ambassador Deddy Saiful Hadi along with Alwi Shihab, special envoy of the president on economics and Wahid Supriyadi, senior adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on economics, social and cultural issues explained the various fields of economic cooperation and investment opportunities in Indonesia.
