Qatar will host tomorrow the 13th meeting of heads of GCC Financial Market Regulators’ Committee as part of efforts to develop integration of the region’s financial markets and the unification of policies and regulations. The Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) yesterday said in a statement that the meeting will bring together the heads and representatives of all member states and the GCC Secretariat. Qatar will also host September 15 the sixth meeting of the ministerial committee of the heads of departments of financial markets in the GCC countries. According to QFMA, the meeting will adopt the economic decisions of the GCC Supreme Council at its 35th session and will conclude with the signing of a memorandum of understanding among the GCC Financial Market Regulators.
