The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Almana Motors Company, the dealer of Peugeot in Qatar, has announced the recall of Peugeot 2008 (models 2014-2015), due to defects in the handbrake lever.
The recall comes within the framework of the ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the dealers’ commitment to follow up defects and repair them to protect consumers’ rights.
MEC has also affirmed that it will co-ordinate with Almana Motors Company to follow up the necessary maintenance and repair processes and will communicate with clients to ensure the success of the recall campaign as well as the implementation of the procedures to fix defects.

Consumers can also submit their complaints through electronic systems installed in malls. These systems allow consumers to electronically communicate with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat in a direct way.
