Dana emerges champion in 10m air pistol

Dana Saad al-Mubarak won the 10m Air Pistol women’s gold at the Qatar Shooting and Archery Association Cup yesterday.
At the Losail Shooting Range, Dana shot consistently through the final, taking advantage of some bad shots of her opponents, to climb the scoreboard up to the lead with 191.0 points.
Winning the gold  she disappointed Nasra Mohamed Mahmoud, who finished in second place with 189.0 points. Dana Mohamed Suleman came third with 165.8 points.
In the women’s junior section of the event Dana Suleman claimed the gold. Noora Ibrahim al-Mutawa won the silver and Zainab Tayeb Buftaim finished with the bronze.
Konstantin Maltsev won the 25m Centre Fire Pistol men’s gold.
Ahmed Zayed al-Shammari emerged champion in the men’s junior section of the 25m Pistol.
