Smile Hypermarket, a new venture of Grand Mart Group, has opened at Barwa Commercial Avenue, Dragon Mart complex, near the Al Watan roundabout.
The hypermarket was inaugurated by Sheikh Jassim Thamir Iesa Thamir al-Thani, accompanied by Sheikh Khalid Salman al-Thani and Sheikh Jabor Khalid al-Thani, on Friday.
Present at the inauguration were Grand Mart Group MD Ismail Chakarath, vice-chairman Ashraf Chakarath, directors Shoukathali Chakarath, Noushad VK and Ameer Ismail, AGM Bachu Sulaiman, legal affairs manager Ummer Chalil and other officials.
Malayalam film actress Anupama Parameswaram graced the occasion.
Smile Hypermarket announced special deals and activities as part of the opening.
