HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday offered condolences to UAE Vice President Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, who is also the prime minister and ruler of Dubai, on the death of his son, Sheikh Rashid bin Mohamed bin Rashid al-Maktoum. The Emir, who met with Sheikh Mohamed at Zabeel Palace in Dubai, also offered condolences to members of the Dubai ruling family, ministers and dignitaries, praying to Allah the Almighty to give them solace and fortitude. The Emir was accompanied by HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani. Also yesterday, HH Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim al-Thani, wife of HH the Emir, offered condolences to Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma al-Maktoum, wife of UAE Vice President Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid.
