BPG Group opens new HQ with exhibition


The BPG Group has celebrated the opening of its new office headquarters with an exhibition of 140 of the most significant tweets from Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, UAE vice president, prime minister and ruler of Dubai.
The “140 x 140” exhibition has been spread across all prominent walls of the new headquarters in Emaar Business Park and was officially opened by guest of honour Mona al-Marri, director general of the Dubai Government Media Office, at the inauguration of the new company office space.
The BPG Group is one of the leading integrated communications companies in the Mena region.
The official opening event was attended by senior managers from a number of other communications agencies within the global WPP Group.  
They included Toby Hoare, president of JWT Europe, chairman of Geometry Global and BPG Group board member; Jeremy Baka, chief global creative catalyst at Cohn & Wolfe; Laurence Mellman, COO, International Specialist Communications, WPP and BPG Group board member; Filip Jabour, CEO of Group M, Mena; Nick Vale, global head of planning, Maxus; and BPG Group CEO Avi Bhojani.
The event was held in the presence of 150-plus BPG Group members of staff who recently moved to the new headquarters.
The new HQ will house the group’s mainstream marketing communications agency BPG Bates, public relations and social media specialist BPG Cohn & Wolfe, media asset management division BPG Maxus and BPG Possible, the digital company within the group, in addition to BPG Group’s management and support functions.
The exhibition will become a permanent part of the new office environment with a refresh every month.
