Boxing fans excited for Doha 2015 as ticket sales increase

The Doha 2015 World Boxing Championships promotional campaign, launched under the slogan of “Every Round Counts” was in full force during the Eid al-Adha break, with ticket sales increasing as excitement grew around boxing’s premier event. The World Boxing Championships are to be held from October 5 to 15 at the Ali bin Hamad al-Attiyah Stadium.
Virgin Megastores, the exclusive ticket sales agent for the Doha 2015 World Boxing Championships, has seen sizeable daily crowds of all nationalities as they arrive to buy their tickets. Ticket sales from fans outside of Qatar have also taken off as they clamoured to purchase tickets via the official website, www.boxing2015.qa
Fans have taken to the official social media accounts of the Doha 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships to express their excitement, with the official Twitter account of the Championships already reaching 6000 followers from around the world. Audiences can follow the progress of the Championships as well as the latest results of their favourite boxers through the social media accounts of the Doha 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships.
The effect of the promotional campaign can also be seen in the jump in unique visitors to the Doha 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships website, which saw 6,499 unique visitors on 26th September, increasing 2,000 visitors from the previous week. Most visits to the official site came from Qatar, followed by the USA, France and several European countries as well as notable visitors from India and Morocco.
