Rain and thunder, along with strong winds, are expected in some parts of Qatar on Thursday, the Met office has said.
The wind speed will reach 25kt in some places, before coming down to around 5kt by night, according to the forecast.
While rain is expected in places such as Al Ruwais, Doha is likely to remain dry and sunny.
Hazy to misty conditions will prevail in some places at first, to be followed by a hot day along with a chance of local cloud development in some areas with rain and thunder, the weather office said.
Hazy and cloudy conditions are likely in offshore areas.
The maximum and minimum temperatures in the country are expected to be 27C and 40C, respectively, with the forecast for Doha being 29C and 38C.
