Qatar demolished Kyrgyzstan 7-1 in their opening match of the AFC U-19 Championship 2016 qualifiers yesterday.
Man of the match Sayed Issa scored a brace (12’, 82’) yesterday in the match held at the Grand Hamad Stadium in Doha. The other goals came from Bassam Alrawi (36’), Abdelrahman Moustafa (51’), skipper Abdullah Alahrak (54’), Hazem Shehata (61’) and substitute Khalid Mazeed (71’). The only goal for Kyrgyzstan was scored by Shaarbekov Kadyrbek in the 58th minute. Qatar are placed in Group A and will play their next match against Lebanon tomorrow. This win will give them confidence for that tough match.
