New line-up of Bravia 4K Android TVs launched

Sony Mena and Fifty One East, Qatar’s leading department store, have announced the launch of the latest line-up of Bravia 4K Android TV and Full HD TV Series.
These televisions will support Google’s latest Android TV operating system, making it easy to stream video, function as a gaming device and provide enhanced features like Google Cast and Voice Search.
The new Android TV range from Sony includes X9400C Series 4K LCD TV. The X9400C 75” Class model features new 4K Processor X1 to improve clarity, colour accuracy and contrast of HD and 4K video providing users with the highest quality picture.
“The 4K X-Reality PRO brings stunning detail for TV broadcast, DVD, Blu-ray disc, internet videos and digital still photos. Brilliant, expanded colour with TRILUMINOS Display is further enhanced for colour accuracy by the new engine,” Sony said in a statement.
The X-tended Dynamic Range Pro (75” model) and X-tended Dynamic Range (65” model) are enhanced by the new 4K Processor engine to produce Sony’s best contrast ever.
The new X9000C series features a new ultra-thin floating style, making it Sony’s thinnest range of TVs yet with edge-to-edge viewing. The X9000C Series 4K Android LCD TV come in 55” and 65” Class models making them the thinnest LCD TV yet from Sony, at approximately 4.9mm (at its thinnest part). The revolutionary floating style, which is frameless and mounts flush to the wall, also features new 4K Processor X1 to improve clarity, colour accuracy and contrast of HD and 4K video.
For the first time, the range supports Google’s latest Android TV operating system, making it easy to stream videos, function as a gaming device and provide enhanced features. Google Cast will provide users with greater connectivity by enabling them to cast content from mobile devices. Voice Search is available through a remote equipped with a microphone. With access to Google Play, consumers can enjoy what they like to do on a smartphone or tablet, from their television.
The new range is now available at all Fifty One East outlets located in Al Maha Centre on Salwa Road, City Center Doha, FNAC at Lagoona mall, Virgin Megastores at Villagio and Landmark malls, as well as selected outlets in Doha.
