Commercial Bank launches new reward points campaign

Commercial Bank has launched its Reward Points Millionaire campaign, where one customer stands a chance to win 1mn reward points and another two customers having the opportunity to win 500,000 and 250,000 reward points.
In addition, all Commercial Bank credit card reward customers will earn double reward points on all local, international and e-commerce purchases during the campaign period, until December 31.
Customers spending a total of QR10,000 or more using their Commercial Bank credit card are automatically entered into the prize draw to win 1mn reward points. Three separate prize draws will take place in November, December and January, where the winners will receive 250,000, 500,000 and the grand prize of 1mn reward points, respectively.
Reward points can be redeemed through Commercial Bank’s loyalty programme, allowing customers to redeem their points for flights to any destination, at any time, with no blackout dates.
“One million reward points are enough for a customer to fly two people first class to New York. Alternatively, customers can redeem their reward points instantly at Qatar’s largest and most popular department stores, including Ikea, Sharaf DG, Virgin, Fifty One East and much more,” the bank said in a statement.
To reward all its credit card customers, the bank is also gifting double reward points on all customer purchases during the campaign period to thank them for their loyalty in using Commercial Bank’s products and services.
Dean Proctor, Commercial Bank EGM, consumer and private banking, said: “We are delighted to launch this one-of-a-kind promotion for our credit card customers, where for the first time in Qatar, one lucky customer will win 1mn reward points. Since the launch of Commercial Bank’s enhanced rewards programme in March this year, we have seen a four-fold increase in the number of reward points redeemed by our customers, demonstrating the value customers receive from using their Commercial Bank Credit Cards.
“We look forward to announcing the winners of the campaign and thank all our customers for their continued loyalty.”
