Qatar Chamber (QC), in co-operation with the International Chamber of Commerce, is conducting today a workshop on “Impact of the treaties that facilitate international trade on the flow of supplies”.
The workshop, to be held at the QC headquarters, will see the participation of experts from international consultancies, the General Authority of Customs and QNB.
The participants will speak on the impact of such treaties on small and medium enterprises as well as the main difficulties concerning customs clearance procedures and other related issues, such as the fees and charges involved and the cost of any delay due to administrative issues.
Meanwhile, the Qatar International Centre for Conciliation and Arbitration at QC will organise a training course from November 1 to 4 to prepare arbitrators for international commercial arbitration.
The training programme targets lawyers, engineers, experts and staff working in the trade sector, banks and
insurance companies.
