UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and the Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid al-Maktoum receiving the credentials of Qatar’s ambassador Hadi bin Nasser Mansour al-Hajri in Abu Dhabi yesterday.  The ambassador conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad

Emir exchanges Hijri year greetings with leaders
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani  has exchanged congratulatory messages with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries on the new Hijri year.
HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani has also exchanged congratulatory cables with his counterparts from Muslim countries on the new Hijri year.
Separately, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani also exchanged congratulatory cables with Prime Ministers of Arab and Islamic countries on the new Hijri year.

Foreign Minister meets Bosnian counterpart
HE the Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah met Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak in Doha yesterday.
They reviewed relations between the two countries and means of developing them. They also exchanged views on matters of mutual concern, particularly the situation in the region.
Separately, HE al-Attiyah met here today with Japan’s Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida. They discussed bilateral relations.

Defence Minister attends Paris meet
HE the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Major General Hamad bin Ali al-Attiyah is participating in international conference of defence ministers and senior officials: ‘The Implications of Climate Change for Defence’. The conference is being held in Paris.   

Minister attends meeting in Riyadh
HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani has affirmed Qatar’s full support for raising urgent Arab issues in the World Trade Organisation (WTO). This came during his participation in the high-level co-ordination meeting of Arab trade ministers, as a preparation for the WTO’s 10th Ministerial Conference, which took place yesterday in Riyadh.
