Mowasalat launches free bus services in Industrial Area

One of the Mowasalat services at the launch of the new bus services to be operated within the Industrial Area.

Mowasalat has introduced five new bus services, all free of charge, in Doha Industrial Area.
The services will cover Industrial Area Streets 1 to 52.
The services were formally flagged off at a ceremony held at the Karwa Township on Thursday.
Briefing journalists on the new services, a company official said the buses would be operated  between 4am and 10pm, at 5 to 15-minute interval. A total of 13 buses have been deployed for the operations.
While one service, No.88,  is exclusively operating through the main road between Street 1 (Al Attiya Market) and Street 52 at the eastern end of the Industrial Area, other services would facilitate onward connectivity for passengers from the starting point of any of the streets with the road to destinations at their opposite ends.
Other buses deployed for the operations are numbered 16, 61, 18 and 81.
