Commercial Bank has announced the winners of its Manchester United credit card campaign with one customer taking home an all-new Chevrolet Camaro from Jaidah Automotive, Chevrolet cars’ exclusive dealer in Qatar.
Commercial Bank is the exclusive financial services partner of renowned football club Manchester United, and customers have been taking advantage of the unique products and experiences on offer for football fans in Qatar since the launch of the partnership in 2013.
Chirdz Bouchahd took home a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro while 40 customers each received Manchester United shirts signed by the players.
“I am a very keen football fan and extremely excited to win the Camaro by using my Commercial Bank Manchester United credit card. I would like to thank Commercial Bank and Jaidah Automotive for this unbelievable prize,” Bouchahd said.
Open to both new and existing Manchester United credit cardholders, customers who were approved for a Manchester United credit card were automatically entered into the prize draw.
A customer is eligible for one entry into the prize draw for every QR3,000 spent using his or her Manchester United credit card.
Dean Proctor, EGM Chief Consumer & Private Banking, said: “Since launching our Manchester United co-branded debit and credit cards in Qatar, the growth in the number of customers has surpassed all business goals for these exclusive products.”
He said Commercial Bank has created a series of opportunities for Manchester United fans to meet with legendary players here in Qatar, win all-expenses paid trips to Manchester to watch live matches at Old Trafford, win T-shirts signed by players, and participate in social media experiences to ask questions from their favourite legends.
He added: “This current English Premier League season will also be an exciting year for all new and existing Manchester United cardholders as the bank has already lined up some fantastic promotion opportunities, which will be revealed very soon. We have seen a tremendous response to this Manchester United credit card campaign and I pass on my congratulations to all our winners.”
Jaidah Automotive director of operations Khalid Samir said: “We’re pleased with our partnership with Commercial Bank for this campaign. Since Chevrolet is an official Manchester United sponsor, Jaidah Automotive is happy to provide a wide range of Chevrolet vehicles to Commercial Bank’s ever-growing customers, and to their Manchester United Credit Card holders.”
He added: “Chevrolet Camaro is the perfect combination of distinct design, cutting-edge technology, and exhilarating performance, and we’re thrilled to announce the lucky draw winner, who as a new Chevrolet customer, will enjoy our unparalleled aftersales service in our main service centre, or in one of our four GM-certified quick service centres around Doha.”
