The highest grossing film of 1985, ‘Back to the Future’ launched one of the most successful franchise’s in Universal’s history, including two theatrical sequels, an animated television series, a theme park ride, toys, comic books, video games and apparel.

At Aspire Park, DFI will showcase all three films, starting today, with the screening of the original ground-breaking adventure - ‘Back to the Future’ - at 7.30pm. Screenings of ‘Back to the Future’ II and III will be held on November 6 and 20, respectively, from 8pm.

Fans of the adventure can also participate in the ‘Back to the Future’ Instagram competition to recreate their favourite moments from the blockbuster and win giveaways.

“Powered with innovative special effects, unforgettable songs and non-stop action, the franchise follows the adventures of a high school student, Marty McFly (Fox), and an eccentric scientist, Dr Emmett L Brown (Lloyd), as they use a DeLorean time machine to time travel to different periods in the history of Hill Valley, California,” the statement adds.
