To commemorate the Breast Cancer Awareness Month of October, Q-Auto is supporting the cause with a pink overhaul at their main Audi showroom on Salwa Road.
This year, the official dealer of Audi in Qatar has once again joined hands with Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) to help promote breast cancer awareness amongst their staff and the larger community.
As part of the awareness campaign, the brand has decorated the Audi showroom windows with personalised pink ribbons and other striking pink decorations that embody the breast cancer awareness month.
The dealership has also encouraged staff to show their support by wearing pink ribbon lapel pins, as well as distributing breast cancer leaflets to customers and clients visiting the showroom throughout the month of October.
The leaflet contains information on breast cancer symptoms, treatment methods and the benefits of early detection. Special QCS donation boxes have been placed at strategic locations throughout the showroom, for customers and staff to donate towards this noble cause.
Commenting on the initiative, Anthony Kwan, marketing manager of Audi Qatar said, “Breast Cancer is amongst the leading causes of cancer death and especially for women around the world. We at Audi Qatar, consider it our social responsibility to help spread awareness among the community about this disease.”
Mariam Hamad al-Nouaimi, general manager, QCS, said, “We are proud to join hands with companies like Audi Qatar who are committed towards making a difference in the society. Over the years, the Qatar Cancer Society has worked relentlessly towards increasing public awareness about cancer.”
