Qatargas gold sponsor of GCC quality conference

Qatargas yesterday announced its support as gold sponsor to the 8th GCC Quality Conference which will be held on November 10 at Sheraton Doha.
The conference theme is “Quality and Human Development.” It aims at highlighting the importance of applying quality management systems in developing human resources and success stories and
initiatives in this area.
Qatargas’ support to the conference was announced at a press conference attended by public relations manager Azam Abdulaziz al-Mannai and the event organiser Gulf Development Centre’s chairman Mohamed Saleh
al-Kuwari.
Al-Mannai stated that Qatargas has always been at the forefront of applying quality systems in its human
development programmes.
“We have a team of professionally-experienced, empowered individuals, who are supported with the right training and placed in an environment that promotes engagement, innovation, achievement and, ultimately, results in all their respective fields.

Al-Kuwari thanked Qatargas for their support to the conference which will offer a major avenue for industries and businesses to exchange knowledge and share best practices.
“This conference will focus on the important link between quality and human development, given the fact that human resources development constitutes a strategic pillar in the social and economic development of the country. If true focus is placed on this aspect, a qualitative transition can be brought about in the overall performance of any organisation.”
The conference will be attended by decision-makers, academicians, researchers and delegates from government organisations, non-governmental organisations and public and private sector companies. Main topics to be discussed include quality and human skills, role of quality systems in developing human resources, the commitment of top management and its role in corporate excellence, success stories and role of human development in achieving customer satisfaction.
