Winner of the QR50,000 cash prize.
Vodafone has given away 10 iPhone 6s and a cash prize of QR50,000 to the first group of winners of its “World of Prizes” competition.
The competition, which continues until January 15, 2016, includes daily iPhone 6s and a number of cash prizes.
The winner of the QR50,000 cash prize is Arjunan Thamizhkumaran, while recipients of the iPhone 6s include Dhan Bahadur Rai, Mohamed Jasali Tharemmel, Anil Acharya, Thomas Anson, Swaminathan Karthikeyan, Amar Hashish, Bem Bahadur Srestha and Ranjith Ramesan.
Winners of the 10 iPhone 6s walked away with their prizes by participating in “World of Prizes” for free.
Thamizhkumaran opted for the premium edition of the competition, which allows customers to benefit from 60 local calling minutes and get a chance to win QR50,000 weekly or the grand prize of QR250,000.
Luke Longney, director of marketing at Vodafone Qatar, said: “Congratulations to all the winners. This is only the first week of ‘World of Prizes’ and there is still a lot more to be won.”
Vodafone customers looking to participate in “World of Prizes” for free need to send an SMS with the code FREE to 97773.
Those choosing the premium edition will compete for a chance to win the “ultimate” cash prize of QR250,000 or weekly QR50,000 by purchasing a daily bonus of 60 Vodafone minutes at QR5.
