LuLu Hypermarket Group, in line with Cancer Awareness Month activities worldwide, has joined hands with Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) to raise awareness about breast cancer, help reduce its incidence and help the community stay well and fight the disease effectively. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is observed around the world every October, involving thousands of organisations. As part of its efforts, LuLu Group has put up danglers in its outlets and all female sales staff members are advised to wear awareness uniforms and tags during the month. Also, LED screens in the showrooms display awareness tips and give informative sessions on the subject, and steps have also been taken to demonstrate the same on social media networks. “We hope the LuLu-QCS collaboration will accelerate awareness and help reduce the chance of developing the disease and mortality,” the management of LuLu Group said in a statement.
