HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held a session of talks with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the Emiri Diwan yesterday. The session was attended by HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, the special representative of the Emir. A number of ministers were also present. On the Kazakh side, the talks were attended by members of the official delegation accompanying President Nazarbayev. The talks tackled relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in different spheres, particularly in the economic field, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common concern. Following the talks, the Emir and President Nazarbayev witnessed the signing of two agreements and a memorandum of understanding.
