StarzPlay now on Ooredoo’s Mozaic TV

Ooredoo’s Mozaic TV has announced the launch of an exclusive partnership with StarzPlay, offering smart entertainment options for its customers.
StarzPlay is a multi-screen video-on-demand service that offers premium Hollywood TV series, movies and children’s content. The service will be exclusively available in Qatar via Mozaic TV from now, according to a statement.
“Ooredoo is the first company in Qatar to announce a partnership with the smart entertainment service and currently has exclusivity for 3,000-plus TV series, programmes, on-demand content and movies that are available for viewers,” the statement notes.
Mozaic TV customers will be able to watch their favourite series at the same time as it is released in the US, meaning no regional delays for content. StarzPlay will also work via the Mozaic Go application, giving customers “unlimited access to the latest entertainment wherever they are in Qatar”.
StarzPlay costs QR50 per month for unlimited access with Mozaic TV. To celebrate the launch of the service, Ooredoo will offer StarzPlay free for two months for all new and existing Mozaic TV customers.
Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari, director of community and public relations at Ooredoo, said: “Our customers want the latest and biggest entertainment content as soon as it airs, and thanks to our new partnership with StarzPlay, we can truly offer new content ‘on demand’. At Ooredoo, we strive to give our customers the next big thing, and now customers can enjoy a whole world of entertainment with their friends and family.”
StarzPlay focuses on exclusive premium television series, offering US or European programming first airing in the Mena region, as well as all past seasons of popular content so that customers can catch up with the video-on-demand service, the statement adds.
Ooredoo customers can look forward to enjoying exclusive StarzPlay content such as CBS’s gothic drama Penny Dreadful, MGM’s Fargo and a Mena exclusive of the award-winning crime series, Broadchurch.
To enable suitable content for the whole family, StarzPlay also offers a host of parental control features and programmes, including Power Rangers, My Little Pony, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Strawberry Shortcakes and Disney movies.
StarzPlay is the latest in a series of mobile and entertainment content services to be launched with Ooredoo.
Mozaic TV customers can subscribe to StarzPlay by pressing the blue button on their remote or by calling 111. To subscribe to Mozaic TV, customers can dial 111 or visit any Ooredoo shop.
