Infrastructural development works will start on Saturday on Aziziya Street between Umm Al Kharj Street junction and Salwa Road.
The works will last three months.
During this period only the service, slip roads and parking areas will be closed. All streets in the area will remain open to traffic in both directions, except on Leslaimi Street, which will be one-way due to width constraints. The northern end of Ibn Ammir Street will be closed.
The authority is implementing the preparation works to enable construction works of roads and infrastructure in Azizia East, which includes the development of the roads, drainage and new infrastructure for residents and visitors of Azizia East, in addition to improving the accesses to residential and commercial properties.
