Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz and his accompanying delegation being received upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani.
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday held talks with Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz at Al Bahr Palace yesterday.
They discussed bilateral ties and ways to enhance them as well as a number of issues of common concern, particularly the latest developments in the region.
Later, HH the Emir hosted a luncheon in honour of the Mauritanian president and his accompanying delegation.
The president arrived in Doha earlier yesterday on a short visit to Qatar.
The president and his accompanying delegation were greeted upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani, Qatar’s ambassador to Mauritania, Abdulrahman bin Ali al-Kubaisi, and Mauritania’s ambassador to Qatar, Sidi Ould Mohamed Laghdaf .
President Ould Abdel Aziz left Doha yesterday afternoon.
