NHRC holds training course on protection of migrant workers

Qatar’s National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) has organised, in collaboration with the University of  Lyon Institute of Human Rights (IDHL), a two-day training course on international mechanisms of workers’ protection.
Addressing the training session, Dr Abdulaziz Abdulqader al-Mughaiseeb, NHRC member, said that the training course seeks to discuss the issue of immigration and rights of all migrant workers and members of their families, saying that the course aims to tackle effects of migrant workers and providing a suitable atmosphere for them in host countries.
