The Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development has signed an MoU with Mitsui & Company to cooperate in energy and sustainable development research. The MoU was signed by HE Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, chairman, The Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development and Norio Tokuda, managing director, Mitsui Middle East here yesterday. At the MoU signing, al-Attiyah recalled Qatar’s “strong bilateral relationship” with Japan and his involvement in strengthening the ties as President of Japan-Qatar Friendship Association.
A statement issued by The Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development said, “There have been a friendly relationship for a long time between Mitsui and various national partners at all levels. From this standpoint, The Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development and Mitsui Global Strategic Studies Institute will work to strengthen this relationship through future projects that will contribute to achieving the desired objectives, such studies and research of common interest in energy and sustainable development, exchange of expertise and information.” PICTURE: Noushad Thekkayil
