DAF truck dealers meet

Mannai Heavy Equipment Group (HEG), the exclusive dealer of DAF trucks in Qatar, has hosted a regional after-sales conference for DAF truck dealers from the Middle East and Africa.
DAF has a strong presence in the infrastructure sector and a large number of its trucks support major infrastructure projects in Qatar, such as the ongoing development of the rail network, among others, according to a statement.
“Mannai HEG and DAF are keen to build on this momentum to ensure evolving standards in aftermarket care, which is one of the reasons for hosting this summit in Qatar – an important growth market for the brand in the region,” the statement notes.
Altan Yuksel, after-sales manager (HEG), said: “The DAF after-sales conference brought some of the region’s top dealers together. During the summit, we addressed ways of increasing client satisfaction and delivering greater value to owners, while ensuring maximum uptime for their fleets through intensive technical training and service updates.”
He also said technical training covering service technicalities were implemented successfully in the past year and that all technical staff members continued to be trained and certified to the highest level according to DAF’s Dutch standards.
Owners can rely on DAF’s wide network throughout the region, with service points offering “unprecedented parts availability and intensively trained staff for class-leading uptime”.
“DAF has a reputation for delivering reliable, cost-efficient and comfortable high-quality trucks. Mannai HEG expects these traits to drive annual growth in DAF sales in the coming years as Qatar’s infrastructure development needs grow,” the statement adds.
