HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr Hamad bin Abdul Aziz al-Kuwari lauded the efforts of Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) in raising awareness about the disease during a visit to the organisation’s booth at the Awareness and Supported Elements Exhibition. The event was held at Doha Exhibition Centre from October 25 to 27 under the theme “Awareness is better care”. Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Jabor al-Thani, chairman of QCS, spoke about awareness projects in Qatar that target all groups and ages, stressing that their participation in the exhibition was an opportunity to enhance their role and functions. The exhibition was also an opportunity to exchange ideas among professionals from different sectors, it was observed.
