Prime Ministerarrives in Paris
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani arrived in Paris yesterday evening, on a three-day official visit to France. The Prime Minister and the delegation accompanying him were greeted upon arrival at Orly International Airport by Qatar’s ambassador to France, Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad al-Thani, and French ambassador to Qatar, Eric Chevallier.

World congress on traffic medicine
The 24th International Traffic Medicine Association (ITMA) Congress on Traffic Medicine and Road Safety begins in Doha today. Held under the theme: ‘Traffic Medicine and Road Safety in Fast Developing Countries’, the three-day event will be attended by doctors, psychologists, traffic safety experts, car manufacturers and engineers.

Qatar sends two aid planes to Yemen
Under the directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, two planes left Doha yesterday to Yemen’s Socotra island which was ravaged by two cyclones recently. The flights are part of an airlift to Yemen.
